Nightlife and Theaters in Northwest Arkansas

From live music and theater to first-run feature films, there’s always plenty to choose from. Coffee houses, bars, clubs and large stage theater venues are alive with folk, rock, jazz, opera, musicals, plays…nights in Northwest Arkansas sizzle with entertainment.

Fayetteville

The Walton Arts Center The area's largest year-round venue for musicals, plays, concerts and events. At Dickson St. and West Ave.
The Arkansas Music Pavillion
A longtime favorite outdoor music venue, now owned by the Walton Arts Center. 2536 N. McConnell Ave. 479-443-5600.

Eureka Springs

Acoustic musicians jam in Basin Spring Park and along Spring St. Free music  often enlivens the stage in Basin Spring Park during the summer, and music spills from clubs and pubs at night. Four theaters offer performances.
Pine Mountain Theater Mike and Dale Bishop and their band serve up country, gospel, comedy, bluegrass, blues and rock every night. Free popcorn, too! A family show. 2075 E. Van Buren. 479-253-9156.
Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down The George Brothers take the stage with music and comedy. 3140 E. Van Buren, 800-468-2133.
City Auditorium Downtown historic theatre offers nights of music, drama, dance and more. Kid friendly performances.
Intrigue Theater Illusionist Sean Paul and medium Juliana Fay present a turn-of-the-century style performance that includes magical demonstrations, feats of astonishing mental capabilities, and other spell-binding and inexplicable mysteries. At the Gavioli Chapel, 80 Mountain St. 479-244-7028
Opera in the Ozarks Presenting performances at its own opera house. Young artists sing up to three different operas each short season, accompanied by a professional orchestra. Rogers

Roger's Little Theater Roger's historic Victory Theater brings high quality community theater to the Corridor. Plays, musicals, and special events,  including dinner theater evenings. In historic downtown Rogers at 116 S. Second St. 479-631-8988.

Northwest Arkansas Bars and Lounges

Cherokee Casino -Live stage show Tues-Sat nights and a huge dance floor.  375 craft beers available. Local bands and some nationally known entertainers. In West Siloam Springs.

Bentonville Night Spots

Among the many clubs and bars, these two seem like good places for visitors: the Executive Escape, a pub on the ground floor of a hotel at 1120 S. Walton Blvd. and The Hive Bar and Lounge, in the 21C Museum Hotel. Seasonally rotating cocktails and a deep bourbon and rye selection. 200 NE A St. 479-286-6575

Rogers Night Spots

Bayou of Rogers Southern menu of fried food, wings, ribs,and shellfish in season. You want blues jam with that? Be there Tuesday nights. 115 N. Dixieland Rd. 479-246-9337.
Theo's Bar Small dining room, nice for intimate date nights. Happy hour specials, appetizers. 3300 Market St.
After 5 Bar & Grill  Yes, it's inside a gas station/convenience store, but it's quiet, drinks are cheap and good, and you can munch gourmet pizza and hot wings. The outdoor patio is pleasant. Pinnacle Station Market. 2000 Promenade Blvd.

Springdale Night Spots

Springdale bars and lounges generally tend to be less "yuppified."If you're looking for a time-honored NW AR night of imbibing, plan to hit these places.
Shirley's Described on Yelp as "the last of the great old-time Arkansas bars in the area.  A real dive (in a good way) and some real interesting characters in here as well. Cash only." 1311 S. 48th St.

Fayetteville Night Spots

Downtown Fayetteville is the entertainment district for the city, and for most of Northwest Arkansas. Here you'll find block after block with little bars, coffee houses and other venues where you can grab a bite and a beverage and enjoy live music.
Here's a few of the best places when you're looking for a nightspot:
